Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The tool runs in your mobile browser — on the upload screen, tapping the browse button also lets you take a photo directly with the camera.
Black and white, grayscale, or color — which should I pick?
Text documents read best in black and white: the background turns pure white and the text stays crisp. Grayscale keeps subtle shading for stamps or pencil. Color preserves photos, diagrams, and highlighted passages on the page.
Can I get the scanned pages as images instead of one PDF?
Yes. Alongside the merged PDF, every batch also offers the scanned pages as JPG images — one file for a single page, a ZIP for a batch.
Is the text in the PDF searchable?
No. Each page is embedded as an image, so the text is not selectable or searchable. If you need searchable text, run the result through an OCR tool afterwards.
My scan looks too dark or washed out. What now?
Change the enhancement level: Light keeps more of the original tone, Strong pushes hardest toward a white page and dark text. Photos taken in even daylight give the most consistent results.
