Add text FAQ

Can I add more than one text box?

Yes. Click Add text as many times as you need, then drag each caption to its own spot on the photo. Each box keeps its own font, colors and size.

Which fonts can I choose?

Five styles: sans-serif, heavy, serif, monospace, and classic Impact. They are system fonts, so nothing loads from the web, and every script — Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi and the rest — renders in your device's native typeface.

Can I use any color?

Yes. Two color pickers set the text and outline colors separately, four presets cover the classic combos, and the outline can be switched off for plain filled text.

Which image formats does it accept?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP. Your image comes back in the same format, except GIF and BMP, which are saved as PNG. HEIC photos can be converted first with the HEIC to JPG tool.

Does adding text lower the image quality?

The text is drawn on top of your photo once, and the file is re-encoded on export, same as any save. PNG stays lossless; JPG keeps its quality setting.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser — your photos never leave your device.
