Does it come with meme templates?
No — and that's deliberate. Classic meme template images carry copyright questions, so AmiIMG focuses on the universal format: your own photo with captions you place yourself. Bring any image and the tool handles the typography.
Can I move the text around?
Yes — every caption is draggable. Grab it on the preview and drop it wherever the punchline lands. Add as many captions as you like; the classic top and bottom lines are just the starting point.
What font does it use?
Classic meme style: bold white text with a black outline, using the Impact font when available and your system font otherwise — Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and all other scripts render natively with the same outlined look. Four color presets cover the classic combos, and you can turn off ALL CAPS for languages where it doesn't apply.
What format is the export?
JPG — the most share-friendly format. Transparent images (like PNGs with transparency) get a white background, which is also the classic meme look.
Is there a text length limit?
Each caption takes up to 120 characters. Long captions wrap onto multiple lines and the text size steps down automatically so the caption never eats the whole picture — with a manual size override on top if you want it bigger or smaller.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The meme is rendered entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device.
Does the exported meme have a watermark?
No. The JPG you download is your photo with the captions you added — no logo, no watermark, nothing stamped on it.
