Mirror images without opening an editor.

Private by design

Every operation runs inside your browser. Your images are never uploaded anywhere.

No accounts, no daily caps, no watermarks stamped on your files. Ever.

Batch friendly

Flip a whole set of photos or scans in one pass and download a single ZIP.

Works everywhere

Any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.

When to flip images

Front cameras save selfies mirrored, and text in a mirrored scan or export reads backwards. A horizontal flip puts both right. A vertical flip turns an image upside down, which suits scans that were saved bottom-up.

Flip image FAQ

Does flipping affect image quality?

Mirroring doesn't resample pixels, so nothing gets blurred or softened on the way. The file is re-encoded once on export, same as any save: PNG stays lossless and JPG keeps its quality setting.

What's the difference between flipping and rotating?

Rotation turns the whole image by degrees; flipping mirrors it like a reflection. A horizontal flip swaps left and right, a vertical flip swaps top and bottom, and doing both equals a 180° rotation.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Flipping runs entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device, and nothing is stored anywhere.

Which formats can I flip?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP, up to 50 images at once. JPG, PNG and WebP come back in the same format; GIF and BMP are saved as PNG. HEIC photos can be flipped in Image Studio, or converted first with the HEIC to JPG tool.
