Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. AmiIMG runs entirely in your browser using standard web technology. Your images are processed on your device and never transmitted anywhere.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP right here. HEIC, AVIF, TIFF, and SVG are supported in Image Studio — with dedicated converter pages for HEIC and TIFF.
Is there a file size or count limit?
You can compress up to 50 images per batch, each up to 30 MB — all locally, so the only limit is your device's memory.
What if I need an exact file size?
There is a dedicated page per limit: Compress to 100KB, Compress to 200KB, Compress to 256KB, Compress to 500KB, Compress to 512KB, Compress to 1MB, Compress to 2MB. Each keeps compressing until your image is under the limit and tells you when it can't get there without heavy quality loss.
