Compressing to 200KB — FAQ
What does 200KB mean here?
The binary convention: 200KB = 204,800 bytes. Every exported file lands at or under that size, or you get the closest possible result with a clear notice.
Is the target per image or for the whole batch?
Per image. Each file in the batch is compressed to the target on its own; a ZIP of results can be larger.
Do PNG files stay PNG?
No. Target compression needs a quality dial, so PNG (and GIF/BMP) sources export as JPG. JPG and WebP keep their format.
Is there a limit?
Up to 50 images per batch, each up to 30 MB.
