How to sharpen an image
Three steps, no uploads.
Add your photos
Drag and drop, or click to browse. Up to 50 images per batch.
Pick a strength
Light, Medium, or Strong. Medium is enough for most photos that look slightly soft.
Download
Save images one by one, or grab the whole batch as a ZIP.
What sharpening actually does
It raises contrast along edges, which makes a soft photo look crisper. It does not reconstruct detail that was never captured.
Private by design
Every operation runs inside your browser. Your images are never uploaded anywhere.
Free & unlimited
No accounts, no daily caps, no watermarks stamped on your files. Ever.
Unsharp masking
The classic darkroom technique: each pixel is compared against a blurred copy, and the difference is added back at the strength you pick.

Sharpening FAQ
Can sharpening fix an out-of-focus photo?
No. It adds contrast along edges that already exist; detail the lens never captured can't be brought back. Very blurry shots gain little.
When is Strong the right choice?
For images that will be shown small or printed at reduced size — the halos visible at full zoom mostly disappear when scaled down. For viewing at 100%, stay with Light or Medium.
Does the output format change?
JPG, PNG, and WebP keep their format; GIF and BMP are exported as PNG.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Sharpening runs entirely in your browser — your images never leave your device.
Is there a limit?
Up to 50 images per batch, each up to 30 MB.
